Wedding Details are Important because they set the Mood
This one should kind of be a no brainer. I’m a wedding photographer, of course I realize that wedding details are important because they help set the mood for your wedding day. I’ve had the pleasure of capturing love stories that are unique and diverse. Meaning, the beautiful couples I’ve served all have their own story to tell. Choosing a theme and color palette allows you to create a mood or the feel of your day. Color, cloth, and other decor items can invoke certain feelings. For example, a wedding with bright vivid splashes of reds and pinks has a completely different feel than one full of smoky browns and deep greens. You get to set the stage.
Wedding Details Help Tell YOUR Story
I’m betting that you choose your wedding colors and theme based on your own personalities, your experiences and your love story as it’s blossomed. We had a wedding once that met at a bowling alley and fell in love over football. You can guess that their entire wedding showcased those two sports that featured heavily in their relationship. Another wedding I captured got married in the woods surrounded by rich oranges, dark reds, greens and cream accents. Moss covered centerpieces and wedding favors full of seeds finished the feel up. The couple were huge advocates of nature and loved to hike and camp. Those wedding details are important to share your story.
They Invite Your Guests Into Your Story
The last reason why wedding details are important is the MOST valid one. Surrounding yourself in all of these little touches invites your guests into your story. It shares who you are as individuals and as a couple. Your guests get to enjoy everything that is…well….you!!! For my own wedding, I LOVE southern BBQ and we both love camping. So we served BBQ pulled pork, corn bread, slaw and our favors were personal s’mores kits. Those little details were big things in our story. We were excited to share those things with our guests and invite them to be a part of this chapter in our story.
In Conclusion
Overall your wedding day is the coming together…kind of like the epic peak of your love story so far…and every part of it matters. Some things may matter more than others, but your wedding details are important because they are a lasting impression of that day. You’ll want to make sure you have the best wedding photographer & videographer to capture all of those details.
Those wedding details are not just minor elements of your big day; they are essential components that can truly elevate the entire experience. By carefully choosing and executing these details, you can effectively set the mood and ambiance, creating a magical atmosphere that will be remembered for years to come. Furthermore, these details serve as storytellers in their own right, weaving together the narrative of your love story and allowing your guests to feel like cherished participants in your special day. So, pay attention to every little detail – from the flowers to the table settings – because they all play a significant role in crafting an unforgettable wedding celebration.
