Refund Policy for

Silver & Sage Studios - Wedding Photography

Effective Date: January 1, 2023

At Silver & Sage Studios, we strive to provide exceptional photography and videography services that capture the most precious moments of your life. We understand that circumstances may change, and we want to ensure our refund policy is transparent and fair.

Reservation & Final Payment:

To secure our services, a non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of the total service fee is required. The remaining balance of the total service fee (remaining 50%) is due 21 days prior to your event date at your final consultation meeting.

Late payments are subject to a $25 per day fee.
Failure to pay in full 10 days before your event will result in cancellation without refund of the retainer.
All payments should be made payable to Silver & Sage Studios.

Cancellation by Client:

If you cancel more than 30 days before your event, you’ll be responsible for any non-recoverable costs we’ve incurred that exceed the retainer amount such as special purchases toward your event and/or work performed to prepare for your event, in addition, the retainer fee will be retained as a cancellation fee to cover all costs incurred.

Cancellations within 30 days of your event will result in forfeiture of the full service fee.

All cancellations must be made in writing and signed by you.

Postponement:

If you need to postpone your event, we’ll happily apply your payments to a new date within six months of the original date without additional fees, subject to our availability.
If we’re unavailable for the new date, refunds will not be issued. If you are unable to reschedule within six months, we’ll happily apply your payments to a new date within 12 months, subject to our availability, however, additional fees and costs may be required with any price increases in our services and products.

Refunds:

The retainer fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
We do not offer refunds due to dissatisfaction with our services. Every client is provided samples of our work to examine before booking. We are committed to providing high-quality work that aligns with your expectations and the realities of your event. However, as art is subjective and opinions vary, we will not refund for dissatisfaction with our services.

Other Important Notes:

Refunds for events impacted by unforeseen circumstances (like “acts of God”) will be issued as credit towards future services or transferred to another person. These ‘credits’ must be used within 12 months. We cannot guarantee price matching from the original service fees.

Dishonored checks will incur a $40 fee, plus a $7.50 service fee for each collection notice.
This policy applies to all of our services, including photography and videography.
