Elegant Erie Yacht Club Wedding in Erie, Pa

Stephen & Lauren planned their destination style Erie Yacht Club Wedding in the early fall before the colors changed. The warmth of summer still hung in the air. The couple met working in Texas and both had ties to Pennsylvania. Lauren grew up in Erie Pa and fell in love with the lakeshore as a child. An Erie Yacht Club Wedding was the ideal celebration for the couple. The couple’s parents were all very involved in the planning process. Especially the bride’s mom who did most of the planning leg work for them. 

Because of the groom’s Jewish roots a stunning Chuppa was built out of rustic tree limbs and decorated with stunning florals in vivid pinks and reds. It was set outside right alongside the waterline. The wedding party made their entrance out of the reception room backdoors and down the stairs. Guests were seated on the lawn facing the water. During the ceremony the couple shared in a unique wine ceremony by blending a white and red. They then shared a drink from the combined glass. At the end of the ceremony Stephen traditionally smashed the glass. We captured the ceremony alongside our team at Erie Videography. Following the ceremony was a beautiful and sentimental reception full of love and laughter. Our other team at Erie DJ Entertainment expertly controlled the flow of both the ceremony and then the reception by both coordinating, playing the couples favorite musical selections and making professional announcements. In addition to the music, Erie DJ Entertainment provided a star patten monogram light to celebrate how the couple met at a space related career. And beautiful, rich pink uplighting accented the hall and added to the vibrant wedding colors.
