Colorful Wedding at the Avalon Hotel, Erie PA

What an amazing time we had at this Coloful Spring Wedding at the Avalon Hotel in Erie, Pa! David & Jessica hired our team for a Micro-Wedding day to capture their magic. Micro weddings are meant for smaller affairs only needing a few hours of photography. 

The couple held their ceremony at Our Lady of Peace on West 38th Street in Erie, Pa. Surrounded by their family and bridal party dressed in a rainbow theme, the couple said their vows. The love between them was evident on David’s face as he watched Jessica walk up the aisle. 

We captured lots of family photos at the church before the coule and bridal party departed for the reception. This wedding at the Avalon Hotel brought every aspect of this couple’s lives into view. The hall was colorfully decorated in the rainbow color theme using every color from yellow to red to purple. In addition, their love for the game Dungeons and Dragons was added to the event with rainbow colored dice decorating the tables. Each place setting had a chocolate bar with a colorful custom printed label. Even the cake donned the rainbow theme. 

The Grand Entrance was thrilling as the newlyweds incorporated their love of the Star Wars franchise into the wedding with a light saber entrance set to the Death March. Our team stayed a little longer than scheduled because family photos had taken so much time that the couple didn’t have enough photos of just the two of them to make us happy. So, we whisked them out into the courtyard to take some photos before we lost the sun light.
