Winter Wedding at 32 West Eighth – Antonio & Denaysha
This beautiful winter wedding at 32 West Eighth took place just days before Christmas this past year. The sweet young couple chose their home church at Family Worship Center in Downtown Erie Pa to say their vows. All of their family and closest friends attended this beautiful ceremony just days before Christmas. My favorite moment was when it came time for them to recite their hand written vows and the groom exploded in contagious laughter. It took several minutes for everyone, including the minister, to compose themselves before moving on. After the touching ceremony we gathered their families together to capture some photos at the church before heading out.
Because this Wedding at 32 West Eighth was all downtown we stopped at the Erie Courthouse to capture a few quick bridal party and newlywed photos. It was my first time being able to capture photos at the courthouse and I enjoyed being there with this sweet couple. However, it was a bit chilly, being only days from the holiday, so we moved on quickly to the reception hall.
We arrived for this winter wedding at 32 West Eighth just before the couple so we snuck in to grab a few photos of the beautiful blue and white decor while we waited for the guests of honor to arrive. The team at the venue were courteous and we could tell they were also excited for the celebration to get started. Before heading downstairs for their Grand Entrance we traveled back up and met the newlyweds in the grand foyer for a few tender moments on the stairs AND to take advantage of the Christmas Tree that so happened to match their wedding decor. It was just so perfect.
After the Grand Entrance we stayed for their cake cutting and first dance. The first dance had to be the best moment of their wedding day. The way the newlyweds moved together on the dance floor, eyes only for each other, clearly showed the love story between them. Thank you so much Antonio & Denaysha for trusting our team to capture the magic on your dreamy wedding day.
